You get more days with your tomorrow... [Cu mâine zilele-ţi adaogi...] - Mihai Eminescu

You get more days with your tomorrow
And shorten life with yesterday
However, with delight or sorrow,
You live forever in today.

When one goes by, there comes the other
To take its place right from the start,
Just like the sun will quickly bother
To rise again in other part.

It seems that other waves are humming
And roaring on the same blue seas,
It seems that other autumn's coming
Yet, the same leaves fall from the trees.

The morning queen, when night is shrinking,
In all its splendor it arrives
And even death, in our thinking
Seems treasurer of many lives.

From every moment of an hour
I understand this truth profound:
Eternity is in its power
And turns the universe around.

So, let this year to slowly dying
And sink completely in the past,
Your treasure in your heart is hiding
And for eternity will last.

You get more days with your tomorrow
And shorten life with yesterday,
Knowing all these, forget your sorrow
And live forever in today.

And landscapes, shining really brightly,
Align in rows that spread a lot
Inflexible and resting slightly
They lie under eternal thought.
